Miami Peel
The Miami Peel can exfoliate and lighten your skin, helping to inhibit further abnormal pigment production, evening skin tone. This chemical peel can be the first step to improving the appearance of hyperpigmentation (dark spots), melasma, sun damage, and irregular pigmentation of any kind. The Miami peel can also clear acne and improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation or dark spots caused by acne lesions.

How does the Miami Peel work?
The Miami Peel contains several types of acids to include Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids, Lactic Acid, Citric Acid, and Salicylic Acid. Additionally, Kojic Acid is also included, a natural ingredient extracted from rice mold. These all have various actions on the skin from exfoliation, antimicrobial effects, sebaceous gland activity, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity, and skin lightening and brightening capabilities.
How many Miami Peel treatments will I need to see best results?
Six to eight treatments are recommended for optimal results. Maintenance can then be done thereafter.
How much downtime is expected with the Miami Peel?
There is typically no downtime. You can have this peel over your lunch hour and return to work. You will need to use a broad spectrum SPF, such as our tinted Daily Replenishing SPF30+ as recommended by Dr. Twigg and avoid excessive heat and sun exposure for at least 1 week.
